The Broken MLM Business Model - Top Tier Business Model Thriving
It was not a long ago when I had my first MLM (Multilevel Marketing) experience. I had joined a financial services company that sold Life Insurance, Loans, and Securities.
I was there for about 2 years before I realized how broken the MLM business model really was. It was a model that was very difficult to duplicate and was falling short of delivering the entrepreneur the right tools to succeed in the 21st century.
Are you currently considering joining an MLM Company?
My intention is not to bash the MLM companies I believe it's a very cost effective way for a company to mass distribute their products & services. The problem for me is that the traditional or ‘old school' MLM model fails to give today's aspiring entrepreneur a real chance of building a sounds business for himself. Now, unless you like hotel meetings, house parties or even cold calling, MLM may be for you.
You see, in MLM your success is completely dependent on the amount of people that you ‘recruit' . Why? Because TOTAL commission is spread over 5 or 6 levels deep. This means that you would need to generate MASSIVE amounts of sales personally at a very low commission rate in order for you to make a living. Most of your income because of the way the business model is built would come from other people's production. Therefore if you do not recruit, you will NEVER have a solid business and you will burn out. That is why people that join MLMs quit within the first 90 days.
Now let me ask you. What are the odds that you will find someone (actually a couple of people) as hard working and dedicated as you are? The odds are very slim, and I'll tell you why… The reason is that true entrepreneurial leaders understand their success is directly proportional to their efforts, and as so, they DEMAND a much higher compensation for their efforts.
In today's modern 21st century world, unless you help others succeed your success will be cut short. In MLM, having someone have taste of success is very difficult because of these low commission structures that are spread to so deep.
That is why The ‘Top Tier' Online Business Model is thriving more than ever. By combining a HUGE upfront commission mixed together with a residual income only 2 or 3 levels deep, entrepreneurs can now build solid businesses that generate substantial income up front and can also build a residual income that will allow them to retire one day.
The world is ever changing and the Traditional MLM Business Model did not adapt to this new era of doing business.

Afghan woman to use ARMC Midwifery Practice as a model for her own clinics
Pashtoon Azfar's path was laid out for her when she was about 10 years old. That was the first time she acted as an unofficial midwife for her own mother in Afghanistan, a country where most women give birth at home.
Ford Model T
Sometimes great achievements are only acknowledged by the warmth of their afterglow rather than the fire of their presence. So it was with the Ford Model T, a car that achieved legendary stature after its passing but during its lifespan got no respect.
Ford Model A
By 1924, Henry Ford's early battles with investors about what to build and how to build it were long since behind him. His vision of manufacturing a car for the working man had been adopted and within a very few years had made him wealthy beyond his wildest dreams. The car that had taken him on his journey, the Model T, commanded little respect from the public, but no one could doubt its success in the marketplace.
Tucker Torpedo Model 48
Was Preston Tucker a visionary or a charlatan, a promoter or a huckster, a saint or a sinner? Five decades after he introduced his amazing car upon an unsuspecting public, those questions are impossible to answer. But the fact is, he was probably all of these things and more, for the story of Tucker and his Torpedo is the story of America in the wonderful, dreadful aftermath of World War II. It's the story of hoping against hope and daring to be different and, ultimately, the story of failure either unfairly thrust upon him or richly deserved.
Cadillac Model 30
Ironically, the origins of Cadillac, the pre-eminent division of General Motors, revolve around the man who would become General Motors greatest rival. Even today, the Cadillac's official history intentionally keeps the connection murky, but the fact is that the first Cadillac was designed by none other than Henry Ford
Stutz Model AA Vertical 8
Like a lingering melody that sticks in your head, the legacy of Harry C. Stutz remained with the car company that bore his name long after he had gone off to other endeavors. So the Stutz Vertical 8, a car that the company's founder had nothing to do with, still bore his unmistakable stamp
Editorial: Culpepper was a model for advocacy in Athens
If there's a celestial commuter rail system, you can bet that's the way E.H. Culpepper is getting to heaven. Culpepper, described without hyperbole by Athens Area Chamber of Commerce President Doc Eldridge as "one of our local heroes," died Monday at the age of 69.
